Our roots go back to 1994, when Northeast Culinary Corp., the parent company of Settles Hill Banquets & Events, first opened its doors. From the beginning, Sal built real relationships with local farmers, vendors, and food suppliers — partnerships that went far beyond invoices and deliveries. Those connections are still at the core of what we do today. Every product we use is handpicked, locally sourced when possible, and always top-tier. Nothing frozen, nothing prepackaged. Every cutlet is breaded by hand, every pizza dough stretched fresh to order. For as long as anyone can remember, Sal dreamed of having his own pizzeria. When we were kids, he’d come home from “vacations” that were really food shows, arms full of pizza tools and ideas. I remember him tossing a giant fake pizza dough in the kitchen, teaching us to flip it like the pros. Fridays were sacred in our house — pizza night. We’d sit around the table debating which place made the best crust or had the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Those moments were about more than food. They were about connection, conversation, and family.
